How to Get There
Grouse Mountain is located in North Vancouver and is easily accessible from central Vancouver by car or public transportation.
Driving from downtown can take around 15 minutes in light traffic, with the route typically crossing the Lions Gate Bridge before continuing through North Vancouver toward the mountain. Travel times can be considerably longer during busy periods.
Visitors who prefer not to drive can reach the mountain using a combination of SeaBus and local bus service.
Shuttle & Public Transport
From downtown Vancouver, one of the most convenient public transport routes is:
- Take the SeaBus to Lonsdale Quay.
- Transfer to the #236 bus.
- Ride directly to Grouse Mountain.
The bus journey from Lonsdale Quay to the mountain takes approximately 25 minutes. Bus #232 also serves Grouse Mountain from Phibbs Exchange.
Seasonal free shuttle services may also operate between Canada Place and Grouse Mountain. When available, the shuttle is generally offered to visitors with an eligible round-trip Mountain Admission Ticket or Grouse Mountain Pass, with seats provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
